Bone graftings are available in many forms such as block grafts, particulate grafts , and synthetic grafts.

Human Block grafts are harvested from a patient's chin, ramus, or other area in the body or can be obtained from cadaver donor. Human Particulate grafts are harvested similar to block graft but in powder-like form. Bovine Particulate grafts are harvested from cow. Synthetic grafts are not derived from human nor animal.

Dr Duong's primary focus is in bone manipulation and prefers graftless approach in placing dental implants. Dr Duong, however, in his opinion, believed that certain surgical dental implant cases where bone manipulation poses difficult or anatomically complicate, then bone grafting with PRF or CGF (Guided Bone Regneration/GBR) is the prefer choice. At CDG, most of our bone graftings are enhanced with PRF and/or CGF to promote faster healing and minimize discomfort post-operatively.
