Dental Implant Assisted Dentures

Due to the lack of jaw bone support for certain patients especially with lower complete denture, dental implant can provide a tremendous improvement in stability and retention of the denture.  CDG dentists will determine the type and the number of implants that is suitable for you.

Procedure

• Prior to implant placement, CDG dentist will evaluate your existing denture and remove possible denture sore spots.
• The implant may be placed through you gum tissue
• Your existing denture will be relined at chair-side over the implant.

Occasional patient may have to replace the plastic retention cups and need reline if the jaw bone is resorpt.
