Nd:Yag Laser is the only laser effective in the treatment of periodontal disease by reducing periodontal bacteria, gingival inflammation or bleeding, and improve gingival pocket.  There is minimal heat generate during laser treatment which reduce periodontal ligaments damage.  Laser is one of the treatment uses to stabilize periodontal disease.
