Root canal is a process of removing infected or inflamed nerve tissue in a tooth.  The root canal is a pipe that leads from the coronal structure of a crown to the tip of your tooth’s root.  The pipe is irregular in various sizes and shapes between patients.

At CDG, with the advancement of many different root canal obturation systems, all of our root canal treatments are filled with a heat molded gutta percha (resin or plastic) precisely fit the internal anatomy of the root canal’s pipe after it has been cleaned and shaped.  This process gives an exceptional three dimensional seal of your root canal.
